We meet every two months on the 3rd Thursday of that month at 7.30 pm to hold informal short talks by members about their chosen subject and discuss areas of interest.

Thursday 16th January 2025
MHS member Kim Power will present - Malmesbury behind the Doors!
Kim will share the history she has found behind the doors of Malmesbury houses as a result of leading The Big Dig in the summer.
Wednesday 22nd January 10.30am at Malmesbury Library, Ashleigh Davies - Wiltshire Libraries Community Advisor
A special Wednesday morning led by Ashleigh to show how the library in Malmesbury can help to unravel areas of Malmesbury and villages history.
Anne Goodyer MHS researcher and regular speaker will then meet us in the Athelstan Museum to explain some of the many books and other resources in the museums reference library.
All are welcome whether you have joined us before or not.

AGM
Speaker Lucy Whitfield will share the results of her research into Two Women of Malmesbury. The women lived very contrasting lives. Amelia Gueriott was a woolworker and Gertrude Luce managed Malmesbury's WWl hospital at Charlton Park.
The meetings all take place in the Town Hall Assembly Room at 7.30 pm
